4d3e49a375 Merge tag 'arm-soc/for-5.16/devicetree' of https://github.com/Broadcom/stblinux into arm/dt
This pull request contains Broadcom ARM-based SoCs Device Tree changes
for 5.16, please pull the following:

- Matthew provides a set of updates to the Northstar Plus Device Tree
files to fix a number of warnings, and prepare the files to support the
addition of the Cisco Meraki MX64/MX65 wireless controller devices and
finally adds support for those boards.

- Rafal continues to provide updates to the BCM5301X Device Tree files
in order to fix warnings with the various node names, MDIO muxes and
memory nodes. He also adds support for the external switches on the
BCM53573 SoC and adds Tenda AC9 switch ports.

- Christian provides the description of the Ethernet switch ports for
the Cisco Meraki MR32 based on the 53016 SoC

- Arinc adds support for the Asus RT-AC88U device based on the BCM4709
and featuring 8 Ethernet ports over the integrated and the external
Realtek switch (not supported yet)

- Stefan adds support for the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 IO board and
does a number of preparatory changes to get there to the Device Tree
files before doing the actual addition

ba232d398a Merge tag 'v5.15-next-dts64' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/matthias.bgg/linux into arm/dt
Biggest change is, that we have now support for a reset controller inside the
mmsys. This goes inhand with changes to the driver, that you will find in the
soc pull request.

Mediatek PCI device tree binding described the root port in a wrong. The IP
actaully implements several root complex with everyone having a single root port.

We need to fix the DT in an incompatible way to describe the HW as it is. This
also fixes a problem that no IRQ bigger then 32 could be handled.

The only public available HW that is affected by this is the BananaPi R64. I'm
not aware that there is a big user base using the upstream kernel. In this
boards PCI is only used for extension cards, so I don't expect any boot problems.

- mt8173: add reset for dsi0 to mmsys
- move dt-bindings reset controller includes to correct folder
- split PCIe node to use new format for mt2712 and mt7622
- mt8183: add audio node to chromebook devices
- mt8192: add clock controller node

936fc53f3d Merge tag 'qcom-drivers-for-5.16' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/qcom/linux into arm/drivers
Qualcomm driver updates for v5.16

This drops the use of power-domains for exposing the load_state from the
QMP driver to clients, to avoid issues related to system suspend.

SMP2P becomes wakeup capable, to allow dying remoteprocs to wake up
Linux from suspend to perform recovery.

It adds RPM power-domain support for SM6350 and MSM8953 and base RPM
support for MSM8953 and QCM2290.

It adds support for MSM8996, SDM630 and SDM660 in the SPM driver, which
will enable the introduction of proper voltage scaling of the CPU
subsystem.

Support for releasing secondary CPUs on MSM8226 is introduced.

The Asynchronous Packet Router (APR) driver is extended to support the
new Generic Packet Router (GPR) variant, which is used to communicate
with the firmware in the new AudioReach audio driver.

Lastly it transitions a number of drivers to safer string functions, as
well as switching things to use devm_platform_ioremap_resource().

Unfortunately, it's real make and number is not known due to obscure and

So the natural alternative that came to mind is to name the panel after

67006e30e2 dt-bindings: Drop more redundant 'maxItems/minItems'
Another round of removing redundant minItems/maxItems from new schema in
the recent merge window.

If a property has an 'items' list, then a 'minItems' or 'maxItems' with the
same size as the list is redundant and can be dropped. Note that is DT
schema specific behavior and not standard json-schema behavior. The tooling
will fixup the final schema adding any unspecified minItems/maxItems.

Douglas Anderson
29145a5668 dt-bindings: drm/panel-simple-edp: Introduce generic eDP panels
eDP panels generally contain almost everything needed to control them
in their EDID. This comes from their DP heritage were a computer needs
to be able to properly control pretty much any DP display that's
plugged into it.

The one big issue with eDP panels and the reason that we need a panel
driver for them is that the power sequencing can be different per
panel.

While it is true that eDP panel sequencing can be arbitrarily complex,
in practice it turns out that many eDP panels are compatible with just
some slightly different delays. See the contents of the bindings file
introduced in this patch for some details.

The fact that eDP panels are 99% probable and that the power
sequencing (especially power up) can be compatible between many panels
means that there's a constant desire to plug multiple different panels
into the same board. This could be for second sourcing purposes or to
support multiple SKUs (maybe a 11" and a 13", for instance).

As discussed [1], it should be OK to support this by adding two
properties to the device tree to specify the delays needed for
powering up the panel the first time. We'll create a new "edp-panel"
bindings file and define the two delays that might need to be
specified. NOTE: in the vast majority of the cases (HPD is hooked up
and isn't glitchy or is debounced) even these delays aren't needed.
